Prepare now for tax filing season.
Here are some steps you can take before the end of the year to minimize your tax bill.
- Maximize 401(k) and other workplace retirement contributions before 12/31.
- Make charitable contributions, donate appreciated stock, or make a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA.
- Review your withholding to make sure you have adequate tax taken out, especially if your spouse is working a part-time job.
Get a head start organizing your documents, W2s, 1099s, records of your income and expenses.
My name is Paul Barnard, I am an enrolled agent, and I'm looking forward to preparing income tax returns for you again this year.
BEGIN HERE by filling out an interview form. This lets me know you are coming.
If you are new, you can tell me about it on the form. It's quick and it's not a commitment, so give it a try.
The process remains the same as in past years; send me your documents and I'll handle the rest.
If you need to meet with me, that can all be arranged. Click this link to access my appointment calendar.
I'll be available to discuss everything with you. After you sign, I'll file everything electronically. I'll send you an invoice for my fee and collect payment at the end.
I have tools to do everything electronically and remotely, but I can also meet with you in person.
I like to use Google Drive for file sharing (see instructions). I can also use Dropbox and Microsoft's Drive. Let me know if you have your own cloud file sharing preference.
The best way to get my attention during the busy season is to schedule something using my online appointment calendar.
Thanks for visiting. I am a licensed tax professional and I work in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. Every day I get to serve some of the greatest people in the world, my clients. Check out my website for more about me and what I do.
Sincerely yours,
Paul
